Less than a year after joining MRM UK announced that Managing Director, Rikke Wichmann-Bruun has been elevated to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Since joining MRM from Oliver, Wichmann-Bruun has led the UK agency with a series of key investments in talent and culture that have translated into strong growth for the agency, resulting in the addition of 11 new accounts in 2022.

As one of her first major hires, Wichmann-Bruun brought in Ioana Filip as Chief Creative Officer as part of the agency’s creative business transformation efforts. She’s also overseen a series of internal promotions to strengthen MRM UK’s leadership team, including Peter Holgate to Chief Strategy Officer.

In her new role, she will continue to lead MRM’s focus on client-centricity and client relationships.

Commenting on her new role Wichmann-Bruun said, “I’m a firm believer that a fast game is a good game. As an agency, we’ve done a lot of work over the past year to break down barriers and create new ways of working. Every decision and transition that has been made over the past 11 months has been a play to position ourselves for growth. We know our clients need and value the ability to act quickly, so I’m excited to see how we can continue to expand on the foundation that’s been laid in this next chapter in order to meet their rapidly evolving needs.”

MRM Global Chairwoman and CEO Kate MacNevin also added, “I’m incredibly proud to elevate Rikke to CEO of MRM UK. A large part of what she’s achieved in such a short amount of time can be attributed to her sound strategic decision-making. There’s a great business transformation story here that’s only in its beginnings and I’m confident that her continued leadership will be a key driver for growth out of our London hub, and within our broader European region.”
